A box office hit in Korea, Love Fiction realistically follows the stages of a relationship, from love at first sight and courtship to affection and fallout. Ha Jung Woo (Yellow Sea) and Kong Hyo Jin (Crush and Blush) star in this charming yet biting romantic comedy directed by Jeon Gye Soo (Midnight Ballad for Ghost Theater). Told mainly from the perspective of Ha Jung Woo's struggling novelist, the film reveals what goes on inside the oft-immature male mind through narrative voice-over and amusing noir parodies of his detective novel alter ego and the mysterious women in his life. Rising actress Yoo In Na (Secret Garden) also co-stars as the ex-girlfriend.

Failed writer Jool Wol (Ha Jung Woo) needs romance in his life so he can have inspiration for his novel. At a party in Berlin, he falls head over heels for film distributor Hee Jin (Kong Hyo Jin). From her straight-talking manner to her interest in nude photography, Hee Jin walks to a different beat, and Jool Wol is completely smitten. With Hee Jin as his muse, he's also finally over his writer's block. But the rosy relationship begins to go downhill when Jool Wool realizes Hee Jin isn't as perfect as he imagined.
