The hit KBS idol drama Dream High returns in 2012 with a new cast for a second star-studded season of musical dreams, criss-crossed romance, and hilarious school hijinks. Sunny breakout actress Kang So Ra, 2AM's Jung Jin Woon, T-ara's Ji Yeon (God of Study), Sistar's Hyo Rin, singer Ailee, Key East newcomer Park Seo Joon, and JYP newcomers JB and Jr. of JJ Project make up the student cast this time around. Kim Jung Tae takes over company president duties while After School's Kahi, Choi Yeo Jin, and a returning Park Jin Young make up the faculty. Many celebs make cameo appearances including Season 1 stars Kim Soo Hyun and IU, Psy, Wonder Girls' Ye Eun, and miss A.

Kirin Arts High School has fallen into tough times since the last series, and hotshot entertainment agency OZ soon takes over the school in full. The agency moves their red-hot artists - including JB (JB) and Shi Woo (Park Seo Joon) of boy band Eden and Ri An (Ji Yeon), Nana (Hyo Rin), and Ailee (Ailee) of girl group HershE - to Kirin, and immediately makes plans to revamp the school and the student body. Kirin's original underdog students, like enthusiastic but tone-deaf Hye Sung (Kang So Ra) and surly singer-songwriter Yoo Jin (Jung Jin Woon), are in danger of being forced out by OZ's idol roster unless they can prove their worth!
